This article presents a comprehensive study of specific Islamic legal rulings related to women, focusing on three important physiological conditions: hayd (menstruation), nifas (postnatal bleeding), and istihadah (irregular bleeding). Drawing primarily on the authentic traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the paper carefully analyzes key hadith texts and their legal interpretations as established by classical scholars. It examines the distinctions made by the Prophet between these types of bleeding and explains how those distinctions form the basis for rulings concerning ritual purity, prayer, fasting, marital relations, and other aspects of worship and daily life. The article also evaluates the methodologies adopted by Islamic jurists (fuqaha) in deriving legal rulings from the Prophetic narrations, highlighting the relationship between textual evidence, medical understanding, and contextual application. By doing so, the study demonstrates the depth, nuance, and continued relevance of Islamic jurisprudence in addressing the specific religious responsibilities of women.
