Abstract:

The Qur’ān is the last message of Almighty Allah to the people. Muslims believe that the Qur’ān is safe from any kind of tampering. It is preserved in the form of a book and memorized. Along with the revelation of the Quran, its writing was arranged. Its arrangement is the same as that ordered by Almighty Allah. But orientalists have emphasized the need to bring the Qur’ān into line with their books to prove that the Qur’anic text has no credibility. Arthur Jeffrey, who is one of the most prominent figures in contemporary literature, has access to the Qur’ān and its related sciences. Jeffrey’s main point of view regarding the Qur’ān is that its text was not fixed. According to Arthur Jeffrey, when the Prophet (PBUH) died, the nation had no revelation in the form of book. The Prophet (PBUH) failed to present the Qur’ān in its compiled and complete form. After his death, his successors compiled it. The main purpose of this paper is to critically review Arthur Jeffrey’s objections and to clarify what the purpose and background of his objections are. There is no doubt that Qur’ān is completely safe without any slight change or disruption.
