Abstract:
Jami al-Tirmidhi is one of the famous books on hadiths of its time to till now, which is written by Muhaddith Abu Isa Tirmidi. Later authors wrote commentaries on Jami Tirmidhi to explain significant issues such as the meaning of hadiths, the description of jurisprudential opinions and the identification of other methods of hadith. Al-Nafh al-Shazi does not need any introduction in the explanations written on Jami Al-Tirmidhi, which is compiled by Ibn Sayyid Al-Nas. Ibn Sayyid Al-Nas removed the ambiguity of the names of the narrators, discussed fiqh issues with arguments, identified other ways of narration, and elaborated on the literal explanation and meaning of the words of the hadith. Hafiz Iraqi took up the task of completing the excellent work of Ibn Sayyid Al-Nas. In Takmilah, Hafiz Zin Al-Din Iraqi further accepted ibn Sayyid Al-Nas’s style of writing and interpretation of hadiths and created more innovation for the convenience of the readers. In this article writing style and explanation method of Hadiths in Al-Nafh Ul-Shazi and Takmilah Nafh Ul-Shazi has been discussed in detail.
