About the Journal

International Research Journal on Islamic Studies (IRJIS) is a peer-reviewed international scholarly journal published by Al-Riaz Quranic Research Centre. The journal is dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Islam and of the Islamic world. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Islamic history, Islamic economics, Islamic sociology, Islamic law, Islamic philosophy, international relations, environmental and developmental issues as well as ethical questions related to scientific research. The journal is committed to the publication of original research on Islam as a culture and civilization.

International Research Journal on Islamic Studies (IRJIS) is a scientific forum to disseminate and publish scholarly writings of scholars from the national and international levels. After the meeting of the Editorial Board on 1st April 2021, the journal will be published in two editions annually in June and December instead of January and July.

Al-Riaz Quranic Research Centre invites scholars of all backgrounds related to Islamic Studies to publish their articles. The articles accepted in the academy are not limited to research reports but also conceptual ideas and book reviews. Manuscripts submitted can be written in either English, Arabic or Urdu.

Focus and Scope

The scope of the International Research Journal on Islamic Studies (IRJIS) is conceptual ideas in the study of Islamic sciences, Education of Islam, Al-Quran and Hadith, thoughts in Islam, Fiqh and Islamic rules, History and civilization of Islam, Language and Islamic literature, Da’wah and Islamic communication and modern developments in Islam.

The presence of this journal is intended to respond and inform the development of current academic issues related to Islamic Studies. Contributions of scholars in the form of articles from both National and International will be warmly welcomed with great appreciation.

Aims and Objectifies:

The aims and objectives of the Al-Riaz Quranic Research Centre are to:
1. Promote research in social sciences.
2. Promote the teachings of the Quran, Hadith, and Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
3. Work and promote peace and harmony.
4. Develop a peaceful environment in the world by providing a platform to the scholars in which they can play a positive and effective role with their writings.
5. Organize awareness campaigns and events in public and private educational institutions to encourage research scholars.
6. Publish research journals according to standards of National and International Higher Educational Commissions.
7. Publish books on important matters related to religion and social sciences.
Society is dedicated to publishing a bi-annual research journal titled “International Research Journal on Islamic Studies (IRJIS)” which contains Articles on English, Arabic and Urdu languages.
