Abstract

Shah Wali Ullah(1703-1762) played a very pioneer and vital role to convey the message of the Quran to the people of the subcontinent in their language. He wrote many books on various topics in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. Although he wrote the principle of interpretation of the Quran (Al-Fouz Al-Kabeer), translation of the Quran (Fath-ur-Rahman) with commentary footnote. Although he never wrote a complete Tafseer of the Quran. But in his books, he discussed the Quranic verses with their glory and interpretation. There are many interpretative points discussed. So, the article is focused on the interpretative, exegetical and unique points of Shah Wali Ullah which are mentioned in his books. So, in this article from his books Izalatulkhifa un khilfatulkhulafa, Hujjatulh al Balgha, Fath al khabeer and Al balagh al mobeen have been selected. The article is divided into the following parts i.e. brief biography of Shah Waliullah, commentary points in Surat Al-Fatiha, results and recommendations.  His exegetical points of view are very important to understanding the teaching of the Quran and are very helpful for the scholars so that this topic has been adopted.
